Academic Foundation

Kelly Economics is led by two Ph.D. economists with active research agendas and peer-reviewed publications in respected economics journals. As forensic economists, we bring those analytical methods from peer-reviewed research directly into our reports and testimony.

Case History

We have specialized expertise in agricultural litigation, with federal, state, and class action casework nationwide. Since 2013, we have expanded to cover damages analysis in personal injury, wrongful death, business interruption, and business valuation in both federal and state courts.

Trempealeau County Circuit Court · Case No. 12-CV-74 · Tried 2017

Retained by plaintiffs' counsel to analyze damages in this dairy stray-voltage matter. Analyzed lost milk production, herd health impacts, and long-term productivity losses. Testified at trial; matter proceeded to jury verdict.

Federal agricultural class actions

Retained 2024 and 2025

Economist for plaintiffs in two federal agricultural class-action matters. Work includes class-certification analysis and damages modeling for affected dairy and commodity producers.

Iowa Supreme Court (2024)
